Speakeasy! will be a night of vintage style and elegance, evoking the scandalous and titillating era of Prohibition and the underground drinking establishments of the time. Resident DJs Delicti, Jenova Complex, and Coffin Joe spin the goth and industrial we all know and love along with a healthy dose of 20s and 30s, swing, big band, acid jazz, lounge, and modern reinterpretations of these classic styles.

Hosted by the alluring Miss LuLu Locks of ProvidencePinup.com, prepare to be charmed, dazzled, and amazed!

If you long for the decadence of past eras...a break from modern monotony...a throwback to more fanciful times...then make sure not to miss Speakeasy!

While a nerf war ensues on the dance floor, come up to the lounge for the first ever "Dark Market". Here you will find a vast assortment of new and used goth and industrial clothing, corsets, CDs/DVDs, home decor, craft supplies, and more.

Sanctuary is going monthly, and our next event will be
Sunday, May 10, when we will bring you Combat Zone -
complete with massive nerf war!

As a monthly rather than weekly event, every single
Sanctuary will be a special event! Thus it will be
even more important than in the past to keep up with
the current schedule, and we highly recommend adding

Hi everyone - just a reminder that due to the Easter holiday and the travel plans of most of our staff, there will be no Sanctuary this Sunday. There will be an upcoming announcement of some scheduling changes at Sanctuary as soon as details are confirmed, so keep an eye out for announcements.

The 3rd annual Raqs Gothique
is this Sunday, March 29th!

The night will feature live music by fusion phenom Copal,
and bellydance-friendly world, bollywood, etc music spun by guest DJ Lost Boy and Sanctuary's own DJs Jenova Complex and Atterlothe.
The event is 18+, runs from 9:30-1:00 AM, and has a $5 cover.
Sanctuary is located at the Dark Lady, 124 Snow St, Providence, RI.


Held in conjunction, earlier in the day at the same location, is the 3rd Annual Northeast Henna and Bellydance Gathering.
Additional cover will apply for the earlier part of the day.

This sunday, March 8th, will be Paint it Pink, with a number of rock bands hosted by Miss Sabrina Blaze. Paint it Pink will be occuring at the Dark Lady every Monday thereafter, and although it is not a Sanctuary event, we encourage you to come check it out, it looks like a good time, and it's run by good people.

March 15th will be the release party for the Dirge Carolers' new CD, Ornithronos!
Come see the Dirge Carolers perform live, then dance the night away with Sanctuary's DJ's and guest DJ Dorian James!
